Info / Description

ADA WEBER

lives and works as an architect, artist and designer in Zurich, Switzerland.
She is a member of the SIA (Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects). With the study of architecture ( Faculty of Architecture STU, Bratislava/SK, 1962 - 1968) came also the love for concrete, geometric art, which is closely related to architecture. The postgraduate studies CAAD (Computer Aided Architecture Design) with Prof. Dr. Gerhard Schmitt at ETH Zurich (1993 - 1995) strengthened and enriched her creativity.

Her artworks are geometric compositions, 3D objects and interactive variable objects. The interactive objects offer the possibility of releasing numerous variations from a basic position by rotating individual parts. Although rhythmically structured in themselves, these reflect, confusingly quickly, our moving, changeable world.

Her artworks have been presented in group exhibitions in several countries. Some are in private collections.

For architecture she, together with her husband Marian Weber, has been awarded several prizes.

DEUTSCH:
