Mijn naam is Laurens Mostert (1981, Den Haag).
In mijn geboortestad heb ik enkele jaren bouwkunde gestudeerd.
Gevolgd door grafisch en typografische vormgeving aan de KABK.
Er volgde een zoektocht met veel ideeën die te weinig werden uitgewerkt.
Ik kwam tot de conclusie dat Nul mijn artistieke beginpunt was.

Mijn streven is het grootse klein te brengen.
Het creatieve proces is zowel intuïtief als analytisch.
Harmonie, concentratie en controle zijn verbonden aan mijn werk.

My name is Laurens Mostert. (1981 The Hague, The Netherlands).
I studied Architectural Engineering in my place of birth for a few years.
After that I studied Graphic Design at the KABK.
A period followed of many ideas that didn’t get worked out enough.
I realized that ZERO was my artistic starting point.

My aspiration is to render the great in a modest fashion.
The creative process is both intuitive as analytical.
Harmony, concentration and control are connected to my work.
